Course Update

Golf course update
Grasses are growing, which is good!! Greens are starting to show signs of recovery, and you will see that they have like a white tinge to them! Basically, the greens are mainly poa annua with some bent grasses in there, but the poa is growing, and it seeds, which leaves the seed heads visible. So regular cutting and light verti cutting will help reduce the poa heads, and in a month or so it will check back.
Also, this week we will be repairing the damaged areas on the greens with new greens turf, and we will be looking to repair the holes on the tees and around the greens caused by rabbit burrowing into the ground.
The robots have been reprogrammed on the fairways and rough, and soon we will have the areas of play hopefully under control as the growth has gone crazy in certain areas.
We will be continuing with the green nutrient and maintenance procedures, which will be continuous throughout the year. And next week we will be having a wood chipper hired in so I can clear the areas of brash and tidy up certain copses.
There's lots going on, but we strive to give you the best possible golf course
Will keep you updated next week
